Looking for a way to not feel so hopeless? I’m going to be posting mutual aid and nonprofits organizations that also won’t have anything to do with my writing!
Today’s highlight is CLUES. CLUES is Minnesota’s largest Latino-led nonprofit organization, founded in 1981 by and for Latinos. Their work is to ensure the advancement of social and economic equity and wellbeing for Latinos in Minnesota.
I will continue these highlights throughout the month of November so if you have an organization you’d like a shout out, let me know!

[VI, wary at first, soon recognizes the voice of the singer]

I think she wrote you a song, Vi. Not sure if she thought you would ever hear it, but I think it’s time to put Plan Wallflower into overdrive.
VI
[lost in the song]

And you can prove it. Listen, I know there’s still some pushback from the label, but I think there’s a way to get around them and get the song out there.

That doesn’t risk a huge lawsuit causing me to retire early in infamy and penniless?

I’m not saying there’s zero chance of that, but what’s life without a little risk?
